These days, a significant proportion of the population tend to communicate through social media platforms rather than talk face-to-face. In my opinion, I prefer talking face-to-face. This assay will discuss in both sides.
Talking face-to-face can develop the relationships to become more intimate between people. It is easier to recognize the emotions of the speakers and the audiences during conversation. As Talking in this way also offers the opportunity to heading out to publications which need to have an interaction to other people. Sometimes doing various activities in real world can work more efficiently especially in teamwork assignments when opposed to communicating through online platforms such as crafting or having meals together. Therefore, talking face to face makes people feel more close leading to develop strengthen bond.
On the other hand, socializing online also has a lot of advantages. For instance, talking together for many hours despite long distances. It is convenient to have a 24/7 online socialization from anywhere. Talking online is the simple way to find new friends without boundaries. Additionally, it can be provided for studying online as can be seen during Covid 19 period which still be used until today to avoid wasting time for transportation. Although there are a lot of benefits, crimes often occur through online network such as pretending to be a friend or parts of family.
To conclude, both types of communication have different pro and cons but talking online has more negative developments because of crimes and the concerns about lacking of interaction in real world in the future.
