The two maps illustrate how a library has developed over the past 5 years.
Overall, the library has undergone a number of dramatic changes over the five-year period, the most significant of which is the extension of studying areas. Also of note is that some places has been divided or repurposed for more specialized uses.
Regarding the layout of left section five years ago, there were three main areas : classroom at the top, meeting room in the middle, borrowing and returning desks at the bottom. In the current layout, the classroom has converted into a recording studio, while the meeting room has stayed unchange throughout the period. However, the borrowing and returning desk has separated into two distinct areas.
Concerning the middle part, the study areas have been upgraded to have more tables, inceasing from 4 tables to 6 table. This area also has transfromed into a private studying tables. The bookshelves at the bottom have been replaced by a desk for students’ laptops.
The right portion of the library has freatured a replacement of the desk for computer at the top, making way for a desk for students’ laptops. Similarly, the library office at the bottom has been replaced by a conference room.
