The line chart displays information on the production proportion of three categories of fuels in the UK between 1981 and 2000. Overall, it is clear that Petroleum fuel production experienced the most significant growth and remained the largest proportion throughout the period.
The production of Natural Gas showed a steady increase from the start to the end of the period, with the figure starting at almost 0% and rising to approximately 40%. Although it experienced a significant rise, it did not become the highest proportion by the end of the period.
In contrast, the production of Petroleum fuel was the largest in the UK from the beginning to the end of the period. While the graph did not show a steady increase, it experienced fluctuations, rose again in 1991, and peaked at approximately 140%.
On the other hand, the production of Coal started at around 80%, decreased modestly to less than 40%, and then rose slightly to 60%. However, Coal fuel production experienced a gradual decline from 1986 to the end of the period in 2000, decreasing from 60% to approximately 25%.
