The pie charts illustrate how full-time and part-time students felt about the IT support and current opening hours of a university library.
In general, while full time students were mostly very happy with the IT support, the largest proportion of individuals studying part-time recorded feeling not happy at all. In terms of opening hours, the figures for both types of learners experienced a fairly similar pattern, with the majority being very satisfied.
A significant contrast is observed between the satisfaction levels of full-time and part-time students with regard to the IT support. Specifically, when it comes to full-time students, those being very satisfied led the chart, comprising more than half, while the figure for learners feeling unhappy only registered 13%, which was the smallest proportion. By contrast, those not satisfied with the IT support accounted for the largest percentage of individuals learning part-time, with 45%, more than doubling the number of those being very happy. In both categories, the proportion of learners feeling quite satisfied contributed approximately one-third of the whole.
A roughly similar pattern is witnessed in two types of learners examined in terms of their satisfaction levels of current opening hours. In both categories, students feeling very happy showed the largest percentage, accounting for more than two-thirds of the whole, followed by those being quite happy, registering 32% and 13%, respectively. Individuals who did not feel satisfied with the library’s opening hours came last, only comprising a tiny minority of students.
