The given line graph delineates data concerning the share of working people in 5 several spheres: services, manufacturing, agriculture, construction and mining in Australia from 1962 to 2012.
Overall, it is clear from the picture that there was an increase in the amount of workforce of 3 industries out of 5.
To begin with upward trends, we should highlight that the service was the dominating branch among other 5 sectors throughout the given period which stood at over 50% in 1962 and rose significantly reaching it’s the highest top in 2012- almost 80%. Other 2 industries: construction and mining also grew slightly which were almost 10% and 2% of all workforce in terms in the initial year and reached approximately 12% and 4% employees working at these spheres at the end of the given period respectively.
Turning to the downward trends, there was a gradual decrease in the percentage of manufacturing and agriculture. To be more clear, manufacturing turned from about 26% to 10% and agriculture dropped at 4,5% from 11% in 2012.
