Band 4+: Modern technology now allows rapid and uncontrolled access to information in many countries. This is a danger to our societies. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

In our modern day world, modern technology is being devoloped by experts for many years.Their aims are making people life’s easier and reaching news or information quickly with telephone,tablets and television while some people who use the these technological devices in bad ways such as spreading incorrect information, photos and videos can affect our life negatively.The usage of modern technology can cause bad consequences to their community.In this essay,I will discuss viewpoints and share my perspective.

To begin with,people prefer to use modern technology for many reasons. Initially, most people use modern technology to learn the news from the global world and their own countries. This usage is perhaps the most preferred method among youngsters and adults because news are shared quickly by agency.For instance,in these days,there many wars around the world.The war which has been continuing between Israel and Palestine is the mıst significant war in the Middle East.Many agency from the world have been sharing news abut war with statetments of authorised person

On the other hand,not only agency intrest to spread news to people.Also, some people who have accounts on the social media platforms may upload incorrect video,photo and news about significant topics on their social media account for society.Misunderstanding can cause chaos due to these incorrect information in the society.To illustrate,many supporters of Palestine attacked the embassy of Israel in Turkey almost 7 months ago.They disributed the building of Embassy of Israel and local people due to some photos and videos which were shared by unofficial social media accounts.

To sum up, the easiest way to get information is to use the technological tools we use in our daily lives. However, in some special situations in the world, we read all the news and comments to get information. In my opinion, people should not share post in situations such as war and natural disasters, and the governments should always make extra efforts to prevent the spread incorrect information.
