Some museums ask for an entrance fee whereas others are free of charge. While charging some amount of money will help museums to maintain better facilities for visitors and artifacts, I believe, there should be no fee for entrance because art was made for public.
Charging people for visiting the museum is economically beneficial for authorities, allowing them to keep the environment in the museum clean and steady. Moreover, collected money helps to expand the collection of the museum so new art pieces can be bought and delivered to the new sector. For instance, many museums in Uzbekistan charge fixed amount of money from adolescent over 12 years and that allows them to collect money and financially support local artists.
On the other hand, art is the crucial aspect of learning and will provide important knowledge about history of place where it was created and what was the purpose of that. Museums help people to learn history in real life and expand their horizons. Furthermore, by visiting such places, people understand the importance of art and explore new angles of the world. For example, museums in Egypt are free of charge, helping people to be connected with history and learn about ancient instruments that Egyptian used centuries ago .
In conclusion, even though facilities provided in museums can be supported by money that they charge, it is more important to help people to learn and explore art without any economic discrimination.
