In the contemporary era, many higher education institutes have provided online courses to alter direct classes. From my perspective, this offer constitutes a positive development owing to facilitating students to access lessons at home and have flexible time.
To commence with, online courses offered by universities enable pupils to learn comfortably at home without attending on campus in a conventional way. As universities may have only one campus, it can create geographical obstacles for learners, thereby deterring them from studying effectively. Take international pupils, for instance; it is explicit that there are many hindrances for them to attend classes directly, such as registering for a visa and living abroad with prohibitively expensive subsistence. Therefore, if they are able to engage in online courses, they can stay at home and study as usual through digital devices, which mitigates financial investment and supports an appropriate environment for them to gain their insights.
Moreover, not only do online courses offered by universities reduce challenges when studying from afar, but they are also accompanied with flexible schedules. On learning online, it is convenient for students to opt for lessons and time to study, suiting them. In this way, they can choose suitable times to enrich their knowledge and utilize their free time for their personal pursuits and rest. To be more precise, Vietnamese students have been provided with many online classes where they can choose time flexibly, thereby allocating time to numerous activities, such as part-time jobs and extracurricular activities. Hence, online courses allow them to freely develop themselves in many aspects with a flexible timetable.
In conclusion, I still hold the view that universities having a system permitting pupils to learn through the internet is a great enhancement. It not only helps learners to study from afar with burdens mitigation, but it assists them with optional choices of studying time as well.
