In 2000, there was a main road running along the west side of the harbour and some public beaches were located in its north and south. A showers & toilets and some car parks stood in the west. In the middle of the harbour was a dock and a lifeboat. A fishing boats and a marina for private yachts could be found in the west side of the beach. A disused castle was in the southeast.
These days, the main road is still there but the disused castle has been replaced with a hotel. The public beach has been converted to a private beach for the hotel. Although the car park remains unchanged, the showers and toilets has been constructed near it. The marina for private yachts and the fishing boats have been relocated to the opposite side. A cafés and shops has been erected next to the lifeboat and the dock has been expanded.
