The map depicts the delevopments of Porth Harbour from the year 2000 to its current state.
Initially, in 2000, notable features include: the dock in the north east of the harbour was doubled over time, adding new passenger ferries. To the northwest, marina exchanged its space with fishing boats. The car park used to be linked with the road that leads to lifeboat, conversely, now it is connected directly to the main road. Also showers and toilets were doubled during this time. Fishing Fleet in bottom region, private and public parking areas in the center, a café, shop, and fishing market along the seafront. The most noticeable change is that the castle was disused in 2000, however, it has been converted into a hotel with its own beach.
Added to this, today, changes include: Expansion of café, integration of a new hotel above public parking, oyster beds replacing old fishing market site.
Overall, Porth Harbour expanded in its number of amenities. Most previous structures like private and public parking remain but are supplemented with new water-based activities and infrastructure improvements over the given period.
