The two maps ilustrate hot the Porth Harbour have developed from 2000 to the present.
Overall, the maps show there are some areas that remain still until today. These areas include showers & toilets, also car parks in the west side. Furthermore, there have been significant changes and additions of facilities over the period given.
In 2000, Porth Harbour only had one dock for the passenger ferries activity near the public beach in the north-east area. Meanwhile, the Marina for the private yachts is located next to the showers and north-west car park, across from the fishing boats location. In the south-east of the Porth Harbour, there is unused castle near the lifeboat place and the south public beach.
Currently, Porth Harbour added some facilities, which one of them is another restroom near the south-west parking lot. While Marina and fishing boats have moved locations, but are still opposite each other. This time, there is a new dock that has been built side by side with the old one. Other than that, the unused castle was transformed into a hotel with a private beach that was previously open to the public. Along with the hotel, cafes and shops were also built between the lifeboat and the Marina.
