Nowadays, there are two groups of people who think that living in cities is better and those who claim that life in the countryside is better. While it is true that living in the countryside is beneficial for its clearer air quality and nature, I firmly believe that it is better to live in cities, due to larger educational and job opportunities.
On the one hand, there are some people who believe that life in the rural areas is better, since the air there is less polluted by transports and the green space is all around the countryside. In cities, there are numerous factories and vehicles that have gas emissions, which is detrimental for human health. However, in the countryside, people do not usually use private vehicles, as there is no need in them. This is because in the rural areas there is not so many space and everything is near to each other.People there often use agriculture as a business, such as crops and plantation systems, which makes the air cleaner and boosts local ecology with green space. Furthermore, people who live in the countryside tend to be calmer and creative, as there is no fast pace of life and stressful atmosphere as in cities.
On the other hand, living in cities offers a great opportunities regarding education and job, as there are better quality of facilities and regulating systems. For some people, it is significantly important to have an access to better educational system or working place, and city is the best way to have it without any interruptions. In cities, there is a greater proportion of schools, universities and employment opportunities, so people prefer to live there instead. For example, in rural areas, there are schools that are not modernized or do not acquire technological supplements for education, which limits students’ learning aspects. Therefore, it is beneficial to live in the urban areas if they need to have high-qualified education.
To conclude, I believe that living in cities is better, since it has certain benefits and offers such as educational or employment opportunities. Although some people think that rural areas provide cleaner air and exposure to green space, having a great deal of the newest matters for the future is better.
