It is true that the standards of living are soaring day by day in some natives. This can lead to some negative consequences for the inhabitants and social order, which calls for possible solutions to be adopted.

Higher living costs are affecting both individuals and society in a number of ways. On an individual level, they will be face-to-face with the rental house very highly, if they have a job or not[a][b]. The residents have a tendency to find more than one job to get more money, which can make them feel more stressed and under pressure. As a result, a lot of people need to spend a lot of time working, they even do not have time to relax and their hobbies, who may be prone to get depression or anxiety disorders[c]. On a societal level, living expenses can cause the jump in the wealth gap in social structure[d]. In particular, the more cities develop, the more clearly social stratification[e][f]. For instance, in many modern cities like Paris, London and New York, people recorded a huge growth in homeless and unemployed people of these cities, following the social evils and having impacts on the governments.[g]

Various measures, nevertheless, can be implemented to address these issues. The first possible solution is that inhabitants living in the most modern cities which have a highly standard living need to learn how to budget their income more effectively and be careful not to waste money[h]. By adhering to a strict budget, people will be able to pay their bills and save money to cover other expenses. On the other hand, governments need to reduce the social stratification in their cities to avoid the rich-poor gap. For example, governments should have more policies and laws assisting unemployed people who can have more opportunities getting a job. Furthermore, policies for homeless people are very important, it can help them have a new chance to make their life useful with society again. [i][j]

To sum up, although many people around the world are contriving to cope with high living costs, there are a number of solutions that may help to mitigate the problem.
