Regarding coffee production, South America comes first with 44%, whereas Oceania comes last with 2%. The proportions of coffee manufactured in Asia, Central America, and Africa are relatively the same, each takes up less than 20% of total. In terms of coffee consumption, European consumers account for more than half of the global share, at 55%. In contrast, Japan and North America have minimal proportions of coffee consumption , comprising 7% and 11% respectively.
Turning to the profit distribution, shippers receives 55% of the total profit, followed by the figure for coffee’s sellers which stands at roughly a quarter percentage. Notable, coffee producers and explorers share the same profits, each constituting 10% of total.
