In these days, studying abroad is becoming more common than ever. Because of this, students are choosing foreign universities instead of staying their own country. While foreign universites offer several advantages, they have undoubtfully disadvantageous sides.
To begin with, colleges give a lot of opportunities in other countries; for example, student’s needs and wants will be covered by school’s adminstation. Applicants, who are accepted to college with scholarship, do not have to pay tuition fees, if their tuition is fully-covered. Therefore, there is no need to worry about the financial burden. Another benefit, it is easier to build bright future with high-ranked universities, because their employment rate is tremendously high, ensuring students with vacations and internship programs with most-talked companies, including IBM, Apple and others. To illustrate, New York University focuses not only on quality of education but also on student’s later life, giving them a big chance to work for governmental organisations.
Despite the advantages, it is also important to consider the drawbacks of studying abroad. Firstly, as I mentioned earlier, the universities are able to cover all expenses for their students, but not for all. It is because some students still suffer from the lack of money. Many of them force themselves to earn enough money. As a result, they may not pass the exams, studying the same course over and over again. Secondly, the students, whose language skills is mot adequate, might face with social problems, since local people can not understand them.
In conclusion, student can gain scholarship by school management, eliminating all money-related expenses, and get a job at well-known campaigns, whereas the rest of the students need to pay their tuiton fee on them own by having a part-time job or creating a additional income, and have to learn other languages to communicate with local residents.
