In society today, the percentage of crimes is more and more increasing out of control. Therefore, it is thought that the best way to down crime is to guide prisoners in the right direction after being released in order to have a better life later on. I totally agree with this idea to some extent.
To begin with, increasing the chance of work. Firstly, vocational training in prisons helps criminals have many skills and some knowledge benefits after being released from prison, they can apply for jobs to enrich their lives. For example, if the criminal learns some haircutting skills, they will be able to work as barbers. As for the amount of income for barbers, today is quite good compared to other jobs. In addition, the risk of recidivism will be reduced compared to recidivism because they have a job to maintain life. Therefore, they will think about their families, and their future without participating in illegal activities, and they also take care of their parents more than they were in prison before, which makes them worried. Finally, prisoners can reintegrate into the community easily when they have received training and have a job after released from prison. This thing makes them feel more actionable to continue their lives in society and start a new life with ease later on.
In short, it is clear that providing knowledge has many benefits for crimes in spite of it is spread. Therefore, the government should strictly manage crimes to avoid problems such as fights and prison escapes.
