The two maps show the extent to which coastland has developed over two centuries to become more modern and accessibility.
Overalll, the coastal land underwent significantly transformation over the period. There had been a shift towards residential towards residential development, with the introduction of car park, lake, cafe. Additionally, there has been establishment of green spaces(trees) and transport systems has changed slightly for more accessible, certain key elements such as, main road, cliffs, beach and sea remained unchanged.
Firstly , it is clear that residential systems has changed significantly. For example, lake was constructed and the car park is now in the middle of map, which was previously occupied by the farmer buildings Furthemore, there is now a new cafe in the near of car park
Another noticeable change is the introduction of green spaces and lake in coastal area. For example, the unused land areas utilized the animals were rellocated and agriculture area demolished in order to create green zones in particular trees woods and lake
Finally, the transport systems has changed gradually to be more accessible. For example, a new foot paths have been built and now people can access and walk through green spaces. Furthemore, new steps has been introduced and new acrossed to cliffs that linked the land to beach
