The two maps illustrate the changes involved in converting a coastal area into a seaside park.
Overview, the land has shifted from a predominantly farmland settlement to a leisure destination. The key changes include the introduction of new amenities and the complete elimination of farming.
Before the development, the central section of the land was occupied by farm buildings, accessible by a road running along the northern side of the map. The agricultural land stretched from the farm buildings area to the far east. To the west, a vacant plot was situated in the far western part of the area. A livestock area existed between the unused land and the farm buildings. The whole site was separated from the seashore by a cliffline.
In the present, the farm buildings have been converted into a car park for residents. A new café was added in the northeast of the car park, immediately adjacent to the main road. Moreover, the eastern agricultural land has been replaced by a small forest with many trees, whereas a new man-made lake has taken the place of the land in the opposite area. Both areas are linked by a footpath originating from the car park. In addition, a staircase has been installed to allow visitors to reach the beach through the cliffs.
