Similarly, the figures for New Zealand and the UK were around 2500 and exactly 1500 in 2014, respectively. These numbers increased to 2700 and 1600 in 2015, then remained stable until 2016.
In Germany, approximately 350 Chinese students studied in 2014. This number slightly decreased to around 300 in 2015, followed by a mild increase to just under 400 in 2016. Conversely, Japan had about 400 Chinese students in 2014, with slight fluctuations ending at just under 380 in 2016.
