The graphs compare the proportion of different age categories using Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube.
Overall, it is clear that middle aged people make up the largest proportion of people spending time on Facebook and YouTube, while Twitter is used more by youth. Interestingly, social apps are less popular among elderly people.
Looking at the details, 19 % people at the age of 50-64 used Facebook which was slightly more than YouTube’s 20% , in terms of Twitter , it accounted for 18%. Elderly people were less interested on Facebook , YouTube, and Twitter which was the least proportion among other age groups, with 8% , 10 % and 4 % respectively. Regarding youngsters between the ages of 10 and 17 , they comprise 14 % on Facebook and less in a fifth on YouTube , in terms of Twitter they make up 9%.. However, the largest proportion of people using social apps was recorded at youth and middle aged people, which was seven in ten on Facebook, 54 % on YouTube. As regards Twitter , it made up approximately four-fifths combined
