The pie charts illustrate the popularity of different means of transportation employees in Rocking Ham used to commute to work in 2005 and 2015
Looking from an overall perspective, it is readily apparent that the proportion of car users was most significant in the years 2005 and 2015. On the contrary, walking registered the lowest figure among other chosen methods of transportation in both years.
In 2005, the data for car users accounted for the greatest percentage, making up 50% of the total, followed by the group of carpool use comprising half of the car users. Although both of these figures witnessed sharp decreases after 10 years, with the former dropping by 15%, and the latter by 5%, they still retained their positions as the most and second most popular transportation.
Conversely, the statistics of those walking and riding bicycles to work both held the lowest ranks in 2005, contributing 5% each. Additionally, the latter method of commuting doubled and remained the least significant. Concurrently, a similar trend of walking was experienced in the data for bus users as it stood at 15% in 2005 and 2015. Meanwhile, the figure for individuals who stayed at home to work grew slightly from 10% to 15% just after 10 years.
