Environmental exploitation has surged over the years giving rise to many problems. Several countries are witnessing the adverse effects of over consumption of new advancements like automobiles, plastics, and chemicals. In the impending paragraphs, I am going to state the problems it has caused to the world and recommend some ways to alleviate this problem.
Automobiles have contributed largely to air pollution, as harmful gases are emitted from cars have severely affected the atmosphere leading to degradation in air quality. To support the above statement, the report published by environmentalists in 2020, stated that toxic gasses released from cars are the major reasons for increase in number of asthma patients in the world. Decomposition of waste like plastics is another alarming issue , huge dumping yards that do not look less than a mountain are highly responsible for poor soil quality and infertile lands.
To combat these problems, government should introduce strict laws on the usage of motor-vehicles, and should encourage citizens to adopt eco-friendly options like electric vehicles and CNG . In order to revive the soil fertility, planting trees should be promoted, switching to jute and bio-degradable products instead of plastic as they can be easily decomposed.
To sum up, I believe rational steps must be taken to mitigate the rising environmental problems before it gets too late to control. It is a duty of every individual to adopt environmental friendly options to sustain life on the Earth.
