It is observed that extraordinary students are not getting jobs in many nations these days. This is because employment selections are not merit-based. In my opinion, the solution to this problem is that companies should select their candidates on a merit basis without allocating seats to the undeserving ones on the recommendation of others. The government should also spend money on the infrastructure of international corporations that will create more jobs.
On the one hand, in today’s modern world, people have become more selfish than ever before. Every company wants to make more money, so they select corrupt politicians’ children as their employees to make connections with highly profiled people and gain more benefits from them. They also take high bribes from corrupt power structures. For instance, in Bangladesh, 20% of government jobs are specifically assigned to the children of establishments without merit, which affects the careers of deserving students.
On the other hand, the solution to this problem is that the government should focus on this issue and make a law in which only highly qualified candidates can achieve what they truly deserve. Leaderships should also focus on creating more job opportunities by allowing international companies to enter their countries, which would bring more employment benefits. By doing this, the economy will grow faster than ever before. For example, in most developed nations such as the USA, there are so many international and national corporations that give much more benefits to their economies and help people to get jobs easily on the basis of their performance.
In conclusion, selections are not based on academic achievements, which causes deserving students to not be selected in many corporations. The government should focus on creating more job opportunities for students and pass a law to protect their basic rights.
