Overall, it is extremely notable that throughout the different age groups, men consumed more fast food than women. It is also noteworthy that young people from ages 18 to 34 are the highest consumers of fast food, accounting 17% of daily calories among men and 16% among women which surprisingly stated a 1% difference between both genders.
Furthermore, there has been a significant decline in fast food consumption as people grow older. In line with this, the gentlemen in the age group of 35 to 49 only accounted 10% consumption while the ladies accounted 9% consumption. Moreover, the decrease in percentage continued to the age group of 50 to 64 which only showed 9% and 8.5%, respectively. Additionally, the old age of 65 and above consumed only a little of fast food, showing 4.5% among men and 3.5% among women.
