The diagrams depict the shares of the global water resource and the usage of water in three nations.
Overall, salt water is the predominant sector compared to fresh water. In addition, ice and glaciers comprise the majority share of fresh water resources, followed by underground and surface water. Moving onto the bar chart, the water usage of three countries namely Egypt, Saudi Arabia and Canada are indicated. Which fall into three categories, agriculture, domestic and industry.
In terms of total water resource, salt water is the evident majority with a whopping 97 percent . As the three percent left is fresh water, around four fifths of fresh water is composed by glaciers and ice, while followed by underground water which accounts for one fifth, and an almost negligible portion on surface water.
On the other hand, the main factor of water consumption in Egypt and Saudi Arabia is the agricultural industry. Achieving around four fifths in both countries, whereas both share a similar pattern with domestic and manufacturing come second and third with portions around ten percent. To the contrary, Canada has a similar number yet a completely opposite pattern as manufacturing is the leading factor with four fifths as well. Followed by domestic and agricultural at second and third, accounting for around ten percent respectively.
