In recent years, keeping old buildings has been a controversial issue for the government and citizens of the country. While some people think old buildings should be demolished to give place for new buildings, some people think keeping old buildings is necessary for young people in the country. In my opinion, I partly agree with old buildings should be knocked down and given away to the new buildings.
There are many reasons for keeping old buildings. One major factor contributing to this is old buildings are the most of thing to preserve cultural heritage , which helps young people broaden their knowledge of the history of their country. Secondly, if people always clean old edifices well and keep them far away from deteriorating , it will make the country have ancient beauty, which will attract a lot of tourists to travel. This could give rise to national economic development.
On the other hand, keeping old construction also has drawbacks of them. Firstly, if inhabitants do not maintain them properly, this leads to the situation where the building will deteriorate and have a significant harmful effect on the citizens living there. Secondly, the lack of new buildings in the area will make some people, especially young people feel convenient and bored. The implication of this is large young people will leave their hometown and go to another country, that has modernized buildings and an active life that suits them better than the vintage country.
In conclusion, whether the old building should be kept or removed will be affected by the individual personalities of the citizens of their country. While I largely support the idea of keeping old buildings to retain their culture, I also think some deteriorated buildings should be knocked down and given place to modernized buildings to give a convenient and active life to young people, who need more new buildings for their career and transports.
