The table above shows the results of a survey conducted in 2012, which asked club members and general public to rate their opinions about a new theatre in one town on a three point scale: excellent, satisfied, and poor. The respondants from both the groups club members and general public were asked about three things: facilities, information and quality.
The experience was generally better for club members at witnessed in the table. For month quality and facilities, club members gave a higher rating in the excellent category—72% and 88% respectively— in comparison to general public which had lesser number of participants rating it “excellent”— 64% and 53% respectively. The magnitude of difference in the ratings is substantially different for the questionnare evaluating quality, with 33% more participants from club members rating it “excellent”, while 40% of the general public rather classified themselves as “satisfied”.
However, in contrast, the experience of general public was better with respect to information access in comparision to the club members. This can be verified by 66% participants from general public selecting excellent compared to 54% of the club members. Moreover, this is the category with the poorest performance among club members with 16% rating it “poor”.
