Cyber security refers to protection of systems, networks and data from cyber-attacks which makes it crucial for internet users. With increasing dependence on technology, cyber-attacks may cause huge financial losses and unauthorised access to personal information or private data .Furthermore , many countries increasingly face cyber threats. In my opinion, I believe that two main reasons lead to lack of cyber security. First, lack of awareness of people on how to avoid or deal with cyber threats resulting from incorrect use of the internet. Second, financial constraints from governments. Despite these problems ,there are several solutions that can address the lack of cyber security.
One reason of lack of cyber security in many countries is that limited support from government, some countries especially developing countries face budgetary constraints and prioritize immediate economic needs over cyber security projects.For example: limitation of investment in this sector has an impact on the economic such as economic growth by the investing in improve infrastructure which is achieving sustainable economic growth. Another reason that leads to cyber insecurity is that people who don’t perceive the risk of luck of understanding how to protect their information and systems which leads to increase exposure to attacks and security problems. For example: Cyber Offense such as online fraudre happen owing to the absence of awareness among employees which exposes company data to risks.
There are many effective solutions to address the problem, one way to tackle this is to use open sources software such as analyze network traffic and detect threats tools without high licensing costs.by doing this government systems and networks be protected and can mitigates cyber threats with low cost. Another signification method is that promote awareness by regulate awareness campaigns between people and small institutions to reduce the risk by enhance security practices.
In conclusion, regardless the reasons using open sources and increasing the awareness are effective to solve this problem. proactive measures and continued education are essential to safeguarding internet users.
