The given six charts illustrate usage of water with three reason (industrial use, agricultural use, domestic use) in all areas of the world except Antarctica.
It can be easily observed that agricultural usage has large proportion for all the areas except North America and Europe, while industrial usage and domestic usage has a minority. On the other hand, Industrial reason is the biggest reason for water usage both North America and Europe. Moreover, there are large differences between their domestic usage and agricultural usage.
First of all, water uses for industrial purpose, with 53% in Europe while agricultural use is just 32% and domestic use 32 percent point. Similarly, in North America, they use water for industrial reason with 48%. Furthermore, agricultural reason has 39% proportion and others domestic use. In addition to this, South America is the third on agricultural usage with 71% proportion. Differently, South America’s domestic use greater than industrial use by 9 percentage point.
Finally, Agricultural usage is higher than 80% in Africa and both Asia areas. Likewise, their domestic use is between 10% and 5%, and other is industrial use.
