The line graph demonstrates the intake of three types of fast food among young people in Mauritius between 1985 and 2015.
At the first glance, it is clear that in 1985, pizza was more popular than fried chicken and hamburgers. However, other two types of unhealthy fast food grew, while statistics about pizza declined.
During the details, fried chicken and hamburgers increased approximately in the same way. On the contrary, crispy chicken rised sharply between 1995 and 2005. But fried chicken stopped increasing after 2005. In addition, to rate of eating hamburgers fluently enhanced every year. Furthermore, in 2015, hamburgers had the highest statistic number of times eaten per year.
On the other hand, pizza data was the peak at the beginning. By contrast, after 1985, the statistics for Italian food declined gradually. Moreover, in 2015, pizza consumption dropped to below 10 times per year. This shows a sharp deterioration in pizza popularity over the years.
