Overall, it is clear that there is a variation in the number of internet users living in different Middle Eastern countries. Iran had the highest number of internet users, while Lebanon had the lowest amount of people who use internet.
It is evident that a significant proportion of the population in Iran uses internet, at about 56.7 million. Followed by, Saudi Arabia with 24.15 million internet users. As of June 2017, Iran had 14 million internet users and rest of the Middle Eastern countries had under 9 million internet users in the given period. United Arab Emirates had 8.52 million internet users. The data shows roughly an equal number of internet subscribers in Yemen, Israel, Jordan, and Syria, ranging from 6 to 7 million users. Finally, Lebanon was the Middle eastern country with the least number of internet connections, at about 4.6 million users.
