In this digital age, technological advancements have revolutionized human lives, offering unprecedented convenience and efficiency, leading to an anticipation that individuals would have more recreational time than ever before. I firmly stand by this proposition, the reasons for which will be delved into in this essay.

The key rationale is that technology would eliminate the need for time-consuming physical travel. The reason is that smart devices enable individuals to perform tasks online, regardless of geographic barriers barriers. Rather than commuting to the workplace, people have the ability to complete work at home, saving time for commuting. Furthermore, there are a wide range of platforms for online meetings such as Zoom and Microsoft Teams that people everywhere can participate in, obviating the need to go to a fixed place. Consequently, individuals would have more leisure time

Another justification why I maintain that people would have more relaxed time due to technology is the presence of household technological gadgets. In this century, almost all basic housework can be done with corresponding machines such as dishwashers, washing machines,… Moreover, instead of preparing and cooking meals , numerous food applications like Grab or ShopeeFood offer home delivery, which significantly reduces time consumption.

In conclusion, I believe that our lives have become simpler and more convenient thanks to technological breakthroughs, by minimizing time spent on travel, and household tasks. As a result, human would have more spare time compared to the past.
