Band 5+: Art is considered an essential part of all cultures throughout the world. However, these days fewer and fewer people appreciate art and turn their focus to science, technology and business. Why do you think this is? What could be done to encourage more people to take interest in the arts?

Note: Both the topic and the essay were created by one of our users.

Art has an important role in each culture and history in our world. Nevertheless, today many people are interested in precise science and modern subjects instead of art. In my opinion, we have a new type of art which can not be viewed by everybody, and a lot of things should be done to return lost sympathy toward arts.

Throughout decades, art has gone through many changes in genre. It is greatly illustrated by the 20th century, when humans started to not understand modernism. Additionally, a considerable background with wars eradicated art culture due to lack of time and need for it. Accordingly, modern pieces of art, such as post-modernism, are just not appreciated owing to a lack of understanding and global importance.

However, there is a vital need to encourage a new generation in classic and modern art, on account of cultural knowledge. First of all, the government oughts to reconsider school program and add history of art and painting lessons. Consequently, children will learn about it, as about math or chemistry. Secondly, free school tours to the museams and art galleries will boost enthusiam and inspire students to create. Owing to the fact that they will see different works of art, such as pictures, portraits, and figures. Therefore, this solutions should help with lack of interest in art in future.

Taking everything into consideration, fewer and fewer people have less sympathy to art due to its difference and problematic history background. However, the government and teachers can have a successfull impact to change this situation.
