The given column chart depicts the distribution of average yearly salary groups over proportion of population in cities and regional centers in Australia. Overall, Cities and Regional centers recorded middle and lower middle salary levels being the dominant among others. Another highlight from the chart is that the percentage of citizens in Regional centers witnessed a significant low income range.
In cities, middle income and lower middle income rates consistently had the highest figures with 35% and 30% respectively, whereas high(20%) and low(13%) income levels came with modest figures compared to the dominant ones. As can be seen from the chart, 65% of the population had a medium range salary from 40,000 dollars to 120,000$ dollars which was threefold excess compared to high income rate and fourfold excess for low rate.
Regional centers observed the same pattern as cities, where middle and lower middle range also contributed significant proportions with 34% and 27% respectively followed by the high (15%) and the low (22%). The percentage of low income rate with 22% posed concern about inequitable salaries distribution in needs for taking closer investigation.
