Dear Sarah,
I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing to express my passion about changing the department in order to develop my career.
In these two years which I have been working with project control department, I learned a lot ranging from soft skills like leadership to hard skills, such as how to analyze delays. In recent months, I am thinking about moving since I assume there is not anymore new knowledge to obtain here. Therefore, I was thinking about other departments, and I came to the conclusion that based my background in architecture, I would like to start designing buildings. It is something that I experienced it for 5 years before I came to your company, and I think it would be beneficial for the company as I will be more motivated in a field that I have an interest in it.
As your company is a place where I do not want to leave due to its friendly environment and its expert employees who I can learn a lot from, I kindly request it if you could let me work as an architect in the other department. Thank you for your consideration. I am looking forward to hearing from you.
Sincerely yours,
R.N.
