The bar chart compares the number of people in five various jobs in 2001 and 2008. Overall, the sales section was the most popular work in both periods, while farming was the least popular in both years. Additionally, the other three works accounted for almost similar numbers.
In 2001, workers who worked as salespeople were responsible for around
150,000, whereas accounting constituted 65,000. Similarly, computing and nursing made up similar numbers, with 60,000, whilst farming was roughly 25,000.
By 2008, the number of employees in the sales section had skyrocketed slightly to about 182,000, making its dominance more stable. The computing also saw notably increase, climbing to 80,000, and nursing edged up to 61,000. With regard to downward trends, the number of workers in accounting declined marginally to just below 60,000, and farming also witnessed a marginal fall to 20,000.
