The line graph displays the differences in Britain birth rate in six diverse age groups: under 20, 20-25, 25-29, 30-35, 35-39, 40 and over, between 1973 and 2008.
Overall, birth’s quantity decreased in four sectors,despite of fluctuation in one. The exception to this were two grown groups, which increased throughout the period.
Two youngest categories: under 20 and 25-29 showed the similar type of decrease; the first decreased from 60 to 40, while the second demonstrated downward trends between 125 and 95. The 40 and over was the lowest overall age group at the start of the period at 20 and steadily declined to just 10 over the next 15 years.
The next two birth groups were both hesitated from 1973 and 2008,but finished with different trends. The 25-29 age group hovered between 140 births and 120 throughout the entire period. The next category of 35-39 remained steadily until 1988 and then from around 40 births increased significantly in 2008 with just 65. Meanwile, the birth rates for individuals aged 30-35 increased consistently every year to just above 80 in the final year.
