In 1998, people mostly spent their incomes on food, especially in Germany, the percentage of this money reaches 25%, while British and French spent 10% and 15% respectively. At the same period, other needed goods was not that expensive, consuming about 17% of salary in Germany. In France it was just above 10%, and approximately 7% for England.
Nevertheless, after 10 years, the indicators totally changed with France, leading the top point in both sectors, with 40% of waste for both food and others. Germany and England had the same 5% of growth for food, reaching 30% and 15% consequently. The expenditure for goods significantly rose in England for about 28%, which was 35% in total, Germany experienced only about 5% of increase, leading just under 25% by the end of the period.
