The table gave information about a bakery’s sales in three branches in 2015.
Overall, we could observe that the Covent Garden branch had the highest average across all types of transactions, while the St John’s Wood branch had the lowest number of transactions. The table also showed the most popular item in each bakery.
The number of takeaway transactions was the highest in Covent Garden, with 338 transactions, followed by Oxford Circus with 291, and finally St John’s Wood with 119. Therefore, the Covent Garden branch recorded the highest overall transactions.
The average transaction value at Covent Garden was 7.58, at Oxford Circus it was 4.51, and at St John’s Wood it was 5.01. The transaction value at Oxford Circus was lower compared to both Covent Garden and St John’s Wood. The total number of transactions at Covent Garden was 642, at Oxford Circus it was 538, and at St John’s Wood it was only 269. Thus, St John’s Wood branch had very few transactions.
The most popular item at the Covent Garden branch was the croissant, at the Oxford Circus branch it was the medium latte, and at the St John’s Wood branch it was the strawberry tart.
