While some believe people can benefit from the upsides of AI in different ways in their ventures, such as productivity and cost savings by replacing employees, I reckon owners need more specialists or skills for solving some technical errors with technology.
Nowadays, people have confusion about losing their jobs because of the advanced development of technology. Because AI can be more efficient and productive than humans. That means, during a short time period, robots can manufacture a large number of products which can be finished before the deadline and make the owner wealthy. AI and robots can operate 24/7 without fatigue, leading to higher output and efficiency. This reduces downtime and increases overall productivity.
In addition, automation of tasks can lead to significant cost reductions in the long term, including savings on labor costs, reduced error rates, and lower operational expenses. Although it can give bosses a financial priority, they can face some technical issues in programming or internal parts of robots. In this case, they need the AI specialists to alleviate this issue, and this causes the rising demands for new employees in this sector.
Employees in roles that are automated may face unemployment and financial insecurity. However, the integration could also lead to the design of new roles, which brings opportunities for employees to be redeployed in positions. Furthermore, when introducing artificial intelligence in the workplace, there might be a mismatch between the skills of employees and the skills required for new roles created by AI and robotics, leading to a skills gap. This brings in opportunities for training and development, learning new skills.
Overall, it is a common discussion that people are aware of being unemployed because of some positives of AI, like efficiency and cost reduction, while I agree companies lead to the introduction of new jobs, including programmers or AI specialists.
