Nowadays, many believe that several types of criminals should not go to prison. Instead, they should do correctional labor. I completely agree with this viewpoint.

Unpaid work may serve as rehabilitation for minor offenses. Engaging in community service allows offenders to interact with others, change their perspectives, and become more responsible. This sense of responsibility may teach them to avoid future crimes.

However, serious crimes, such as murder, should not be met with leniency. These offenses warrant prison sentences to ensure the safety of society and the peace of citizens. For example, if a murderer remains free, they pose a significant threat to everyone around them, potentially leading to tragic outcomes.

In conclusion, while unpaid work can be a beneficial alternative for minor offenses, serious criminals must face imprisonment to protect society and uphold justice.
