Overall, adolescent boys participate in almost all activities, such as sports, computer games, and shopping, more than girls, except for music, in which boys and girls participate equally.
Sports were considered much less important for the female groups than the male group, at 12% as opposed 27%. Similarly, in the computer games category, the figures show a model different between boys and girls, with boys accounting for 17% and girls recording about 14%. Both groups agreed on the importance of music in influencing their performance, with around 40% in each group. On the other hand, shopping is the top choice for boys, with nearly 35% selecting it, while fewer than 10% of girls prefer this activity
