The diagram illustrates the recycling process of aluminium drinks cans.
Overall, there are 11 steps in the progres of recycled aluminium cans, which begin with the delivery used cans and end with produce new cans by recycled materials. This process take 6 weeks to finish.
Initially, disposed beverage cans is transported by trucks and deposited at recycling factory. At this stage, these cans have to be washed before being crushed at the machine at the third step. After crushing process, these materials undergo particular process inside the industrial site, which include erasing unusable parts such as lable by chemicals.
Furthermore, the substances are heated to change their mechanical properties and become soften. Following this stage, soft aluminium is shaped and moulded to selected appearance. After that, these new produced cans are measured to ensure they have similar standard weight before going to be rolled in the rolling process. Finally, these new recycled cans are ready to use again.
