The bar chart illustrates the change in percantage of international students, who have graduated from Canadian universities in various provinces from 2001 to 2006.
Overall, there was a significant rise in the number of international students graduating from universities in Canada between 2001 and 2006. In half of the provinces, the percent of international graduates was at least two times larger in 2006 than in 2001.
A more detailed look at the graph reveals that while the number of international graduates increased in most Canadian provinces, the opposite is true for Alberta. For instance, there were around 6 percent of international students, who have graduated from a university in Alberta in 2001, whereas there were only slightly more than 4 percent of that group in 2006.
Another important detail regards British Columbia. As it can be seen from the bar chart, that province had the most significant rise in percentage of international graduates, with a bit more than 4 percent of international students graduating from universities in 2001 and about 10 percent of them in 2006.
