Overall, there are two processes, the first one is the cement manufactoring and the second one is the concrete production. Cement production requires 5 main stages, from collecting the ingredients to packaging the cement. In contrast, to make concrete you just need 1 step.
To begin with, cement is made by mixing limestone and clay, which will be crushed using a crusher. After it reaches a desired consistency, the mixture gets heated inside the rotating heater by fire. Moreover, the end result will be slightly coarse, hence it goes through a grinder. Lastly, the ground cement are packed in bags which later can be sold to make concrete.
The next procedure is how to make concrete with a concrete mixer. To start with, half of the mixture consist of gravel, which are small stones. Then, 25% of sand is added to the concrete mixer, followed by 15% of cement. Water takes up the least amount of percentage at 10%
