Subsequently, ancestors do very well things with hand, there were more handmade things which are very usefull. Today the modern people can not do it, I think in the past was very well than now. And then, with crafts we will know all knowledges, their languages, traditions and life, in crafts more pictures that describe somethings.
Secondly, the market forces will determine ansectors and historia. They define it with any methods, in the past did not develop, in this time was a trade, works with different status, the poor people should work for rich people. The survival measure with any things, for example archeological excavation, some experiments, to search things and etc. In my point of view, the governments and force markets do it.
