The offered line graph demonstrates how many international tourists visited Australia from 1975 to 2005, while the table depicts the breakdown of the change in number of visitors in 6 countries. In general, it can be observed that the trend witnessed a significant growth in the total number of visitors at this time period, whereas Japan ranked first.

To be more specific, Australia recorded approximately 8.8 million of foreign visitors in 1975, while Japan was larger than South Korea, 3.2 million for the former and 2.9 million for the latter. Meanwhile, China, the USA, Britain and Europe had similar levels of tourists, which was between 0.3 to 1.1 million each.

In the investigated period, Japan’s data surged with 12 million, and came top in the total of visitors. The number of South Korea’s tourists passed through a drastic rise with 9,1 million. At the same time, Europe’s data also rocketed, accounting for 4,5 million foreign visitors. A contrasting pattern can be evidenced in that of China, USA and Britain, increasing by 0,5 to 1 million visitors.
