The pie chart illustrates distinct locations of where people tend to eat their food, including at home, at work, fast food outlets, and restaurants, whereas the bar graph demonstrates the amount of popularity each cuisine from four different cultures has among two disparate age groups.
Overall, it is clear that the fast food outlets predominate in meal locations, while American and Mexican food are the most preferred among the both age groups.
According to the data related to the pie chart, fast food outlets are the main contributor to meal locations by 43.5%. Additionally, restaurants and eating at work come in second, with 26.1% and 21.7%, respectively; however, serving meals at home is the least common, with nearly one in ten having their meal there.
In detail, American cuisine is the most preferred among both people aged 16-24 and 25-40, with roughly 1200 and 900, respectively. Mexican food is the second favorite with 800 people younger than 25 and around 700 people older than the aforementioned age. The remaining two, Italian and Middle eastern, are not following the same pattern as before. Despite Middle eastern and Italian being popular among individuals aged 25-40, with around 300 adults liking both, this pattern is different among younger people, as they are keen on Italian food more, with 400 youngsters, and merely interested in Middle eastern, with less than 200.
