At present, international tourism is the largest business across the globe. But some people believe that it creates ruckus among the people of different cultures instead of understanding. I agree with the opinion that tourism helps in building relationships with different cultures, sometimes it becomes a reason of fight between the same people.
Tourism is a booming business across the world which helps one connect with other cultures and visit places. Majorly, it has positive impact on public development and growth not only monetarily but also culturally. For instance, most of the families in Northeastern parts of India depend on tourism for their bread and butter, additionally they also learn about different traditions from visitors, it also helps to build healthy relationships with the people from other provinces, for example a foreigner visiting seven sister states will impact the people whom he meets with his dressing, tradition, language and he will in turn learn their culture as well.
As this industry grows difference between people can also be seen, people will become more ambitious about money and get jealous over one another. Recently, a lady from United States of America got scammed by some miscreants in Gujarat where she lost millions for artificial gold jewelry. With increasing visitor’s residents of that areas will get disturbed which might create tensions among the people, foreigner’s vising India and commenting about the culture might result in differences among the people which divides them as two groups.
Conclusively, travel industry is growing rapidly and contributing to one’s income at the same time people should be responsible while dealing with the tourists.
