The proportion of population who rode bicycles in a town has been depicted by table chart on the basis of age group in a year.
Overall, it is clearly noticeable that, the percentage of early age children is highest in terms of cycling , whereas it was lowest in case of middle aged people.
According to the details, the ratio of girl child outnumbered the boys who were below 9 years by 1.1. Conversely, the percentage of boys in bike riding almost doubled from girls between 10-17 years to 42.2 in 2011. Surprisingly, those people who are above 40 and below 59 year, showed less preference in terms of it and stood at 12.3% for females and 8.0% for males.
Turning to further details, although the percentage of females cyclists exceeded the male cyclists in the age group 18-39 and over 60 and stood at 17.1 and 18.5 respectively in 2011, it also displayed that the older generation was more active then the young ones.
